Health Checks and Vaccinations
We believe in the value of regular health and development checks for all babies and young children. At Kedron Wavell Medical Centre we offer No out of pocket cost for health checks and vaccinations for your child.
Health and development checks deliver an opportunity to confirm your child is growing and developing normally. It also provides an open forum to discuss any questions you may have with your general practitioner.
When should your child be checked and vaccinated?
The health checks are recommended by The National Health & Medical Research Council of Australia (NHRMC).
It is recommended that checks are done at 1-2 weeks for a newborn, then 6-8 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and then a more comprehensive check at 4 years, prior to the child entering the school system.
