We all find ourselves in an unprecedented and difficult time due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Our aim is to keep our community and our team as safe as possible while still providing comprehensive and quality health care. We want to reassure all of our patients that we will continue to care for your health needs and you will get an appointment, whether that is in person or via telehealth.

Please do not book an in-person appointment if you have been in contact with a coronavirus case, have travelled overseas in the past 14 days (or live with someone who has travelled) or if you have symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, muscle aches, fatigue or diarrhoea.

We have a number of measures in place to maintain our services whilst keeping you safe:

  1. Telehealth Consultations – ONLINE BOOKINGS AVAILABLE

All of our doctors are available for consultations by video link or telephone, enabling you to connect with us from the comfort and safety of your own home. Telehealth is a safe and convenient first point of contact at this time. Bookings can be made here.

For those in our community who are vulnerable and isolated during this very difficult time we would like to offer a regular check in review via telehealth to check on your physical and mental wellbeing.  Please discuss with our reception staff by phoning 3359 2160 if you would like to arrange this service.

  1. Triage Nurse:

Entry to the clinic will be from the carpark only. One of our capable and caring nursing team will greet all patients arriving at the clinic. If you are attending for an appointment or to have bloods taken, the nurse will check if you have any current symptoms that may be due to COVID 19 and will check your temperature. If there is a risk that you may have symptoms, we will ask you to return to your car and will arrange appropriate care.  Items for collection can be picked up from the triage nurse.

  1. Social Distancing for in-clinic appointments:

Routine appointments can be booked via reception at 33592160 at for the following reasons. Our reception staff will ask you some screening questions to make sure it’s safe for you to book in.

  1. Childhood immunisations
  2. Antenatal or postnatal check ups
  3. Wound dressings

Strict social distancing practices exist for these appointments including limiting the number of people attending the practice at the same time. We may ask you to wait in your car until your doctor phones you to come into the clinic. Separate waiting areas are being used and are cleaned regularly between patients. Our doctors and nurses will all be wearing a surgical mask and gloves when treating patients.

  1. Flu Vaccinations

Private flu vaccinations are currently available for all patients over 6 months of age. We have ongoing orders of government funded vaccines for those who are eligible. We will be running flu vaccination clinics several times each week to ensure that people have access to vaccination.  The flu clinics will use appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures to ensure vaccination is carried out safely.  Bookings for the flu vaccination clinic can be made by calling Reception on 07 3359 2160.

Thank you for your support. We welcome feedback and suggestions on how we can continue to improve our services.
