Kedron Wavell Medical Centre offers a range of specialist services designed to maintain optimal health in women.
Our services include Pap smears, breast examinations, family planning advice, contraceptive advice, pre-pregnancy counselling, pregnancy care, menopause care, gynaecological care and well woman checks.
Our Doctors are also able to implant or remove Implanon which is a long-acting contraceptive device.
In participating in the care of pregnant wormen, our doctors share antenatal care with the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital. This involves the coordination of the initial care of the patient, the arrangement of all appropriate tests, and the ongoing care during pregnancy. Private referrals can be arranged with your obstetrician of choice.
